Dozens of footprints are crisscrossing the sands, but for those of you waiting at Powell Station for the full release, there’s exciting news:
- For those of you following The Inbound Lands on Pinterest, you may have started to see more and more figures creeping into the images I’m choosing. There’s been a lot of foot-traffic in The Inbound Lands Beta, and I’m responding to that in subtle ways. Future players may start to see evidence of other travelers soon, as well as ways to connect with others!
- I’m closer than ever to a public release of the first region, but in the meantime, I’ve been looking at different or additive platforms to continue expanding the world in new and interesting ways. I don’t want to give too much away, but needless to say, I’m excited about the possibilities.
- I’ve also been working on “artifact” illustrations and visual map sections that will accompany the game. Perhaps most exciting, print formats of these illustrations will be on view in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, at the BNA International Airport, on Concourse A! More details to come!
- And lastly, if you’re at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Fall Festival tonight, stop in and play a round in the Beta! I’ll be out as part of the Nashville Creative Group‘s Pop-Up Village with The Inbound Lands in tow.
If you’ve been wandering as a Beta Tester, don’t forget to send in your address for your Inbound Lands souvenir. I’d like to show my appreciation for your dusty, trail-worn boots.
